Walk: What Can We Learn From Our Ancestors?

A day out in nature, to see what happens when we pause our 'futures thinking' and instead look to the past.

Date & Time

24 Oct 2026, 09:30 – 17:00

TBC: 30 mins train from London

About

In sustainability work we spend a lot of time thinking about the future.

What are we missing by not paying as much attention to the past?

What do you think your ancestors would say about the time we are living in now?

How might our ancestors have understood 'sustainability'?

What did previous generations know, that we have since forgotten?

And seeing as it's almost Halloween, perhaps the 'thinner veil between the dead and the living' will give us some clues.

Family and lineage can be a complex and personal topic. As with all Treo House events, this discussion will be held with kindness, curiosity and respect.
