OUR VALUES

PARTICIPATION
GUIDELINES

01.

A SAFE SPACE

Confidential and non-judgemental.

  • Treat what people share with you with respect.

  • Take the lessons, leave the details.

  • Do not discuss any commercially sensitive information.

  • Everybody's viewpoint and experience is valid.

  • Participation is optional.

02.

WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS

Attendees are citizens not consumers or products.

  • This is not the space for promotions or sponsorship deals.

  • This is not the space to collect clients.

03.

THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX

We've got to do things differently.

  • Be open to creative thinking and unconventional learning.

  • It's ok to disagree, it's ok to change your mind.

04.

WITH LOVE

Be kind to one another.

  • Hold space for each other with intention and care.

  • Listen to understand, not to reply.

  • Be self aware.

05.

WALK THE TALK

Demonstrate bold sustainability behaviours.

  • Reduce unnecessary material use, avoid single use items, source carefully and consider end of life.

  • Actively consider accessibility requirements, removing barriers to entry and encouraging diversity.

  • Only partner with organisations who are actively leading in sustainability.
