Developing a Kinder Relationship to Self
We're giving our all to caring for the world, yet perhaps we aren't so good at caring for ourselves. This workshop creates space to acknowledge how this may be impacting you and how to extend your compassion inwards.
Date & Time
26 Nov 2025, 18:00 – 19:30
Treo House, 1 Pickle Mews, London SW9 0FJ, UK
About
Working in sustainability can mean that we care deeply for the world around us, but we don’t always extend that same care inward. Instead, we can carry a harsh inner voice that tells us we’re not doing enough or we aren’t good enough. That voice can lead to overworking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, playing small or fear of judgement; all of which quietly drain our energy and reduce our impact.
This 90-minute workshop is an invitation to pause and reflect on the relationship you have with yourself, and begin to shift it into something more compassionate.
We'll explore:
What your current self-talk and internal narratives sound and feel like.
Why the way you speak to yourself matters - and how it is mirrored in the world around you.
Simple yet powerful practices to notice, question and shift your inner dialogue.
How to treat yourself with more care.
At the end of the session, you'll leave with:
A clearer sense of how your relationship with yourself is affecting your life and impact.
Awareness of your patterns of self talk and how to gently shift them.
Practical tools to build a kinder inner world.
This is the third session in a 4-part Authenticity series led by Heather at Treo House, helping you explore how to create change in a more authentic way. You’re welcome to attend any of the sessions as a one-off or join the full series. You can see more about the other workshops below:
