PARTICIPATION GUIDLINES
Treo House is designed to be a safe place to be honest, vulnerable and authentic. The only way we can achieve this is with the commitment of all of our members to act with compassion and trust. Our participation guidelines detail the behaviours we expect.
1. Respect confidentiality.
-
Understand your obligations in competition law. Do not discuss any commercially sensitive information, marketing strategies or co-ordinated commercial conduct. Read this government advice if you are unsure or seek independent legal advice.
-
Take the lessons, leave the details (Abide by the Chatham House Rule.)
2. Invite everybody into the conversation.
We all have a responsibility to ensure that every voice is heard. Be aware of your natural tendency in groups and aim to speak up and actively listen.
3. There is no right or wrong.
Our events are designed to challenge our assumptions and opinions. It's ok to disagree, it's ok to change your mind, everybody's personal viewpoint is valid.
4. A note on political activity
Treo House is a Community Interest Company. Under UK law, this means it is not allowed to be, have direct ties to or be controlled by a political entity. Activities cannot involve political campaigning.
